The 2nd Annual RoboRun - Coming Jan 16th

Wait a Minute: It's on!!!

The 2nd Annual Great Fresno RoboRun is happening the morning of Monday, January 16th, 2012! What better way to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day then to witness the madness as the Di60Y crew takes on the Girls of Atomic Assault Roller Derby and GloboGym's Purple Cobras in the runningest, eatingest, burritoest relay race of all time!

What it is:

The RoboRun is simple: You get a team of 4 humans and start at the Robertito's in Downtown Fresno where one person in your group eats a giant burrito and then runs to the next Robertito's on Blackstone. There, team member 2 eats a burrito and runs down Blackstone to the next Robertito's and so forth until your entire group ends up at the Robertitos by Costco on Blackstone where they must, as a group, consume a serving of super nachos.

The winner takes home the RoboRun Cup and some gift certificates to Robertito's. 

CHECK out last year 's RoboRun. I'll give you a minute ........ Looks fun, huh? But a lot has changed since last year and new questions will need to be answered like:

• How will the Derby Girls handle life after skates?
• How will Bo's body hold up running over 3 miles after a very public battle with AIDS?
• Who is team 3 and are those socks in their running shorts?

So come watch the drama and be at The Robertito's in the COSTCO parking lot at 7184 N. Abby Street at around 11ish on Monday, the 16th of January, to cheer on your team or just watch them barf. 

Or tell your friends in the local media to be there so next year can be a true battle royal.
