Bo's Birthday Extravaganza!!!

It was our very own Bo's birthday and I wanted nothing more than to force him to have the best time EVER. The best possible way to make sure a reluctant dude has the best night EVER you ask? Getting him trashed in another town at a show with the Greenhornes,  Strange Vine, and lots of sexy sexy trees. 

There was a (shitty) time in my life where it wasn't in my best interest to, let's say ... drive. *cough cough DUI* cough* So for that (oh so shitty) time in my life, my good friend Bo would take on the task on picking me up on many occasions on the way to The Tower, our drinking haunt of choice. The whole "on the way" part became something of a debate and can be found on our podcast Di60Y 17: Festivus For The Rest Of Us, so I wont get into that here. I told Bo I'd return the favor one day; and by God this was the day! 

 So I picked him up, brought him back to my pad, we got him rightfully trashed before we even hit the road, poor Jap never even had a chance. There's something you should know about Bo, Bo does NOT get trashed very often. It's like a bi-annual thing. Which you can pick up on in the video by some people having surprised reactions to Bo's inebriated and care-free temperament.
    
Needless to say, I succeeded in my goal for the night, Bo had a great time. Many birthday wishes and drinks from friends as well as strangers. All the bands that played there were such a bonus to the night. Really amazing and fun music, The Cellar Door did not disappoint. Bo loved the tunes and at one point he even spotted a girl and thought he was in love but the girl was already spoken for (Story of Bo's Life). So he went to the next best thing. A tree. For some reason Bo is two for two getting drunk and making out with Visalia trees. Bless his half Asian heart..
