The 2nd Annual Great Fresno RoboRun is happening the morning of Monday, January 16th, 2012! What better way to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day then to witness the madness as the Di60Y crew takes on the Girls of Atomic Assault Roller Derby and GloboGym's Purple Cobras in the runningest, eatingest, burritoest relay race of all time!

From the Archive: The Fresno Falcons Close Their Doors

FRESNO - Local resident Josh Parkey, 34, was devastated last week to hear the Fresno Falcons were closing there doors after over 40 years of hockey.  “What am I going to hopefully get around to doing now.”  Parkey tried to digest the news that a Falcons game was just one more thing he would never get to do.  Friends say lately he has been sighing more often than usual as he flipped through all 458 channels noticeably slower this week.
