Armageddon, everybody's second-favorite asteroid movie of the summer of 1998, has been in my mind as the perfect swede for a very long time.

It's big, dumb, stupid, and a lot of fun. In a nutshell: It IS Dead in 60 Years!

Gay Top Gun at Swedefest!

I have seen Top Gun more times than any movie in history. As a kid, I thought it was the ultimate guys' movie. I literally watched it every day for my entire childhood. I idolized Val Kilmer in that movie like most people idolize Jesus. When I grew up, I lost the edge, much like Cougar.

A couple of months ago, while debating what movie to Swede for Swedefest 8, I picked up the Blu-Ray version of Top Gun and made a discovery: Top Gun is the GAYEST MOVIE EVER! Shocked (and a little bit aroused), I decided to call my cohorts from Di60Y and tell them that I had found the perfect Swede.

My exact words: "It's so gay. It's perfect for us!"
